Worm Gear Trunnion System The cast iron trunnion is mounted to the cabinet insuring stability and accuracy. The worm gear system provides quick and accurate blade height and bevel adjustments. The blade elevating and tilting are both controlled by the worm gear trunnion system. The blade is elevated and tilted by swing the worm wheel. The blade tilting is controlled by the lead screw mechanism. The blade is tilted by the whole blade elevating assembly being moved with a lead screw. Innovative “GLIDER” Blade Guard The “GLIDER” blade guard with aerodynamic optimization improves the dust collection efficiency. The special transparent blade guard provides visibility for aligning the saw blade with the intended line of cut. Both side barriers automatically adjust to the thickness of the advancing workpiece. Plug-in Quick-Release System The patented plug-in quick change system allows you to change the blade guard and riving knife within a few seconds without the removal of the table insert. 3 HP TEFC Motor The motor comes with the true OUTPUT POWER* of 3 HP, which is absolutely powerful enough to provide long term performance even in the toughest conditions. *Output Power: Output power is the power value that a motor uses to convert electrical energy into mechanical energy. Because the current motor is not ideal, a small part of the electrical energy turns into other forms of energy (mainly heat energy) and lost due to the actual existence of coil resistance, rotating shaft friction and other factors in normal work. So the output power is always less than the input power. Magnetic Safety Switch The magnetic safety switch with thermal overload protection can prevent the motor from being damaged by overheating.
