The Continental Grand Prix 5000 S TR is the perfect tyre for performance-oriented cyclists who are looking for absolute speed. Thanks to an updated production process Continental was able to reduce the weight of this tyre by 50 grams compared to the Continental 5000 TL. In addition, the Lazer Grip Technology that gives the tread such good grip expands over the tyre shoulder. This gives the GP 5000 S TR optimal grip in the corners. This laser-cut profile improves the airflow around the tyre for better aerodynamics. The tyres are also suitable for biking with hookless rims up to 5 bar, so that rolling resistance can be brought to a minimum.

More stability and comfort
The GP 5000 S TR has an updated carcass, giving the GP 5000 S TR good stability in the bends and at high speeds. The tyre is also equipped with an Active Comfort layer. As the name suggests, Active Comfort ensures a high level of cycling comfort. The Active Comfort layer has a shock absorbing effect and dampens vibrations from the road surface without affecting rolling resistance.
